Build a lego airkraft with lego!

Done before by Knusel111, with a zillion RCX’s and motors. This is the mini version, with basically the same end-result. It is more or less a POC; i do not own enough RCX’s to automate it completely. The video is a concatenation of numerous different shots; the machine was on my desk for almost a year (i have other hobbies too).

Lego#96 :: Sound Plotter

A sound plotter, inspired by the Bird Drawing Machine from David Shingler. The pen moves left/right based on the amount of sound detected by the soundsensor. The complete assembly is turning slowly.
The final result draws rather “random” art. The motors are making a lot of noise with negative impact on accuracy.

My Lego version of a toy called “Mxykikker”, that i saw in a shop called Jansen & Jansen in Groningen (Netherlands).
I used 1 small PF motor and tried to keep the thing as small as possible. The legs are spinning a little to slow for smooth walking; the original is also running better due to its flexible legs a quess.

Lego#92 :: Self Parking Car

This SPC is using the standard Lego NXT distance sensor to detect an empty space in an array of cars. If found, it will park the car neatly. I decided to mount the sensor in the rear, contrarily to most MOC’s.

After seeing the “Vex RCR VexMini Ping Pong Ball Shooter 2″ here on youtube i deceided i want my own. The shooting mechanism is completely different however. Lego fans will recognize the bottom part of the Lego 8275 Bulldozer.
